As an exclusive subcontractor of Barrick, DTP Mining has been responsible for mining and extraction work at the Gounkoto goldmine in Mali since 2011. The 12-year contract schedules the extraction of 165 million bcm of materials.

Having operated in Mali since 2000, DTP Mining was previously responsible for:

• - Operating the Morila goldmine (8 million bcm of materials extracted per year – 80 million bcm in 10 years) on behalf of Barrick between 2000 and 2009.
• - Then the recovery and treatment at this same site of 18 million bcm of ore stores with a low gold content between 2009 and 2013,
• - The Morila Push Back project (extension of the mine) over a period of 23 months (2013-2015) concerning the extraction of 10 million bcm
• - Operating the Loulo goldmine, located not far from the Gounkoto site, from 2009 to 2012.
