Jamaica, 2002-2012 (in two steps)
Under a 35-year concession contract, Bouygues Travaux Publics was appointed to build a 35-km-long motorway, including duplication and upgrading to motorway standard of a 14-km-long stretch of existing road. The new toll motorway connects the Jamaican capital, Kingston, to Mandeville, a bauxite mining town in the eastern part of the island.
An additional 11-km stretch was built in 2011–2012.
Works performed:
- Duplication of the 14-km-long Old Harbour Bypass, including toll plaza, 2 half-interchanges, and 15 culverts, bridges, etc.
- Construction of a 21-km-long section of dual two-lane carriageway between Kingston and Bushy Park, including 3 interchanges and 17 culverts and bridges, etc.
