General description

Construction of a 205-m-long, 3-span composite steel-and-concrete bridge over the Seine River, between Île Seguin island and the former Renault factory site in Boulogne.

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS

The bridge rests on an abutment in the upper part of the island, on an abutment pier on the right bank, and on a pier and abutment on a 600-place carpark.

The loadbearing structure consists of a variable-depth steel box girder supporting the roadway and a cycle path. Deck depth varies from 1.65 to 4 m.
