France, 2015-2018
Comprising, among others, several Bouygues Travaux Publics entities, the consortium is tasked with carrying out work on batch T2 of the RATP’s line 14 extension project. Batch T2 -Civil Engineering from Clichy Saint-Ouen to Pleyel- includes the building of a 2.2-km long tunnel (using an 80-m long and 8-m interior diameter earth pressure balance TBM); of a tunnel linking the train maintenance & storage area; of the Saint-Ouen Town Hall station and four ancillary structures, including strengthening of RER C infrastructures.
The consortium is particularly concerned with sustainable development aspects and limiting disturbances in a highly dense urban environment. For example, all rubble will be evacuated by waterways, to avoid disturbing traffic in the towns concerned. In the long run, this stretch will ease congestion on Paris’ underground line 13.
