General description

Design-build-and-operate concession contract for:

- a 740-m-long cable-stayed bridge across Masan Bay, with a 400-m-long steel main span topped with a concrete deck and suspended by lateral planes of stays;

- two approach viaducts, one a 410-m-long variable-depth steel box-girder with spans of 145 m, 160 m, and 105 m, and the other a 550-m-long composite steel box-girder/concrete structure with spans of between 50 and 70 m.

 

Consumer / concession authority : Gyeongsangnam-Do Province

 

The consortim will operate and maintain the bridge for 30 years.
