ARSLA - Orchestre de l’Alliancedescription
For the second year running, and on the occasion of the 32nd edition of the Saisons de la Solidarité concert, Bouygues Travaux Publics sponsored the concert of the Alliance orchestra. The entire proceeds from the evening, which took place on 1 October 2015 in Paris’ Salle Gaveau, went to ARSLA - Association pour la Recherche sur la Sclérose Latérale Amyotrophique [Organisation for Research into Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis] (ALS - Lou Gehrig’s or Charcot’s disease).
Founded in 1985, ARSLA has become an essential public health player through its backing for research and support of patients. In addition to 30 years of actions, over 5 million euros have gone to ALS research, representing over 150 clinical or fundamental research projects, which have all contributed to better knowledge of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. 20,000 patients and their close ones have also benefitted from the organisation’s support.
Bouygues Travaux Publics has sponsored ARSLA since 2009, when one of the company’s staff was diagnosed with ALS. Touched by the combat and courage with which he faced the disease right up to the end, Bouygues Travaux Publics and its staff have since decided to provide unfailing sustainable support to the organisation.
