General description

Construction of the new integrated expertise laboratory for CEIDRE (Centre d'Expertise et d'Inspection dans les Domaines de la Réalisation et de l'Exploitation - Centre for expertise and inspection in the domains of construction and operation). This classified nuclear facility is to be the national power authority’s (EDF) new support for operation of its existing nuclear generating plants as well as the new EPR plants for the next 50 years.

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS

The building has three levels. Its footprint measures 170m x 60m. It includes a shielded process line, metallurgical, chemical, and mechanical laboratories and their equipment, and services for operation.
