Construction of a storage tunnel to buffer excess stormwater. It temporarily holds 80,000 m3 of water before discharging to treatment plants or overflowing to the Seine river.
It has an internal diameter of 6.8 m and was driven with an earth-pressure-balance tunnel-boring machine. It lies between Masséna Bridge in Paris and the town of Ivry, covering a distance of 1,850 m.
